How WATCHMYDC ANALYTICS OY handles personal data on watchmyvr.shop. Last updated 4 November 2026.

This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit watchmyvr.shop or contact us. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Finnish Data Protection Act.

2. In short

3. Data processed when you visit

Technical data. To deliver the pages and protect the site, our hosting provider Render and our network provider Cloudflare automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page and time of the request. This is necessary to show you the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These providers keep their logs for a short period under their own retention rules. We do not combine them with other data or use them to identify you.

Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare gives us anonymous traffic statistics such as page views and load times. It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f).

Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd), so your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with them. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f), our interest in a consistent, readable design.

4. Cookies and similar storage

Necessary. Your browser’s local storage remembers your cookie choice (“wmvr-consent”) so the banner doesn’t appear on every page. This stays on your device; we don’t receive it.

Analytics (only with your consent). If you click “Accept analytics”, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to count visits and see which pages and buy buttons are used. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as “_ga”) and processes your shortened IP address, device and browser details and the pages you view. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are set; Google Consent Mode sends only cookieless, aggregate signals. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawing doesn’t affect processing that took place before.

5. Links to Amazon and eBay

Buy buttons take you to our own listings on Amazon and eBay. The links contain tracking parameters (Amazon Attribution and the eBay Partner Network) so the marketplaces can tell that you came from our site. We receive only aggregate reports (for example, number of clicks and sales), never your name or order details. Once you leave our site, Amazon or eBay is the controller of your data. See our affiliate disclosure.

6. When you contact us

If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we process your name, contact details, message and any order number you share in order to answer you and handle questions, returns or warranty claims. Legal basis: steps related to a contract or warranty (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep these messages only as long as needed to resolve your request, and then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them (for example accounting rules). Email is handled by our email provider Hostinger. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd under its own privacy policy.

7. Who receives data

We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers:

We don’t share personal data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

8. Transfers outside the EU

Some of these providers, or their parent companies, are in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We answer within one month. Because we don’t keep visitor data ourselves, most requests about website visits concern the providers listed above, and we will help you reach them.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Finnish supervisory authority, the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi), or with the authority in your own EU country.

10. Other points

We don’t use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects. This site is not directed at children under 16. Providing personal data is voluntary; you can browse the whole site without accepting analytics or contacting us.

11. Changes

We update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
